The first cyclists leaving transition.

The first cycle group.

The second cycle group from which Nicky Samuels would come from to take 3rd place on the podium.

This was one of several tight bends on the course.

This photo was taken to give a more artistic view.

The image is taken so that the central point is fixed and everything expands out from it. How this acheived including several more examples is to be covered soon in the actionshots blog.

The lead run group stayed very close throughout the entire 10km's with only Nicky Samuels running her way into it.

A little bit of reflection can be useful.

The Austrian people put on a great event.

There was a big day of triathlon held the day prior to the ITU event and very cool sprint triathlon held over the same course.

It was great to see the New Zealand flag flying twice.

A very good day for New Zealand and another moment to cherish for the coach John Helleman's(at left).
