Macca getting told to go in 2 directions.
Swim course in the sea.
Not sure where the green cap swimmer in the foreground is headed, an early day maybe?

Nice work if you can get it?
The swim can be seen in the distance from here overlooking the Cairns lagoon.

8th for Jason Shortis and still going strong at 42 years old.
Petr Vabrousek 5th.
He enters a lot of races because he prefers them to training. Sounds fair to me.

David Dellow takes the honours in the first ever Cairns Ironman.
Cameron Brown takes 2nd on a very hot day that reached over 30 degrees celsius.
The humidity is what is difficult to deal with though.
That makes three ironman 2nd places for Cameron this year.
More races than he normally does but ironman New Zealand was reduced to a half distance duathlon this year.
